About Me
Madison Kester was born in the United States but grew up across continents as an expat kid, spending her formative years in Argentina and Peru. Her global upbringing shaped both her creative vision and her deep sense of storytelling across cultures. Madison earned her bachelor's degree in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design and later completed her master's degree in Interior Design in Madrid, Spain.
She went on to build a successful 10+ year career as a senior interior designer specializing in commercial interiors before moving back to the Netherlands to pursue her lifelong passion for writing.
Madison first met her husband as teenagers in Buenos Aires — a fleeting connection that would survive years of distance, different countries, and the unpredictable life of growing up abroad. After years apart, their love story finally came full circle.
Today, Madison continues to live internationally, in The Netherlands, raising her own little expat kids and writing about identity, belonging, and the extraordinary power of young love that refuses to fade.
